Provide Feedback/Propose a Project Idea

The West Central Partnership seeks ideas from all sources relative to sustaining the region's communities, natural resource base economy and natural resources. It uses a "Letter of Inquire" to bring items to the attention of the Board. While the West Central Partnership prefers to get involved in developing projects early in the process, it will consider partnering on "Project Proposals" that are further along in the process.

The Board meets the 2nd Thursday of most months. Please submit your proposal by the first of each month so the Board can review it. The Executive Director will be in contact with you following the board meeting.

Letter of Inquire

In a one to two page letter addressed to the West Central Partnership, include the following:

  • Who you (Organization) are:
  • Purpose of the organization:
  • The issue/situation you want to address
  • Ideas on addressing the issue/situation

Since it's inception in 1999, the West Central Partnership has funded/partnered on 70+ applied research and education projects based on the three guiding principles-active citizenship, sustainable development, and University partnerships. The board's priority areas include: Community-based Renewable & Clean Energy, Local & Sustainable Food & Agriculture, Sustainble Built & Natural Resources; and Building Capacity in Citiznes and Communities. Please refer to the Projects page on details of these focus areas and consider them as you develop a proposal.
