Our Goals
Establish partnerships by expanding networks among the citizens of NW Minnesota, regional and state agencies serving the region, and the University of Minnesota in a citizen-driven process for identifying and addressing local, regional and statewide agricultural, environmental, societal and economic issues.
Direct NW Partnership and other leveraged resources toward Board agreed-upon needs. Resources can be allocated for research, education, outreach through projects.
Increase community awareness of, active involvement in and access to research, education and outreach capacity of the University of Minnesota.
Foster development of agricultural, tourism and natural resources systems that are profitable for citizens, while enhancing environmental quality and supporting rural communities. Priorities are listed in the annual plan of work.
